Studying martial arts at Karate America has helped me and my family in so many ways. We're in better physical and mental shape, and my daughter's grades and attitude improved from her first class. the fun of sharing in such an enriching and positive activity together has strengthened our family bonds. And i feel better knowing that my daughter's martial arts training is helping her avoid the dangers kid face today, both through better self-awareness and self-defense.

The greatest thing about Karate America is that it focuses on the whole child. It's not just a great physical workout (which it is) or a good education in self-defense (which it is) or a way to increase strategies for dealing with stranger danger (which it is). But it also encourages children of all ages- within a nonthreatening setting- to strive for personal excellence spiritually and intellectually as well as physically. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Karate America takes great care to teach every child. Every class is taught by an adult black belt. This is not a baby sitting karate service. George Chaber and the staff at Karate America make learning positive values and kempo fun. My son has found a lifelong friend in Sensei Chaber

Both my son and daughter have benefited from their time at Karate America: "Yes Mom- starting at age 5. Belt testing parental forms were a great way to encourage respect and politeness and complete homework and chores. How to handle Bullies and to never give up are just a few life lessons that my kids have learned over the last 5 years!

My son Tanner has attended Karate America for the last three years. I signed him up to have an activity to do and he was interested. It has really helped his focus and helped him in all areas of life. the fact that they work with the whole child and discuss character education and community service is great and we plan on staying at Karate America for many more years.
